Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

This page describes how Known Caller (the “Service”, operated by Dandoo Labs) handles personal data submitted through the pre-launch waitlist at knowncaller.app. It is intentionally short. If something is unclear, please email hello@knowncaller.app.

1. What we collect

Only the email address you enter into the waitlist form, together with the timestamp of the submission. We do not collect names, phone numbers, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints through this form.

2. Why we collect it

To notify you — once, when Known Caller launches — and to send occasional early-access updates about the product. That's it. Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) given by submitting the form.

3. Where it is stored

Waitlist submissions are delivered to us by email so we can follow up when Known Caller launches. Anonymous traffic metrics are collected via Vercel Analytics (cookie-free, no personal data). We do not sell or share your email with advertisers.

4. How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after Known Caller launches and you have not responded to any of our launch announcements — whichever comes first.

5. Your rights

You can at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your email. Email hello@knowncaller.app from the address you signed up with and we will action the request within 7 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

6. The Known Caller plugin and your shop's data (product)

Separate from the waitlist above: the Known Caller for WooCommerce plugin turns your store's customers into contacts on devices you choose, using the standard CardDAV protocol. In plain terms:

7. Contact / Controller

Data controller: Dandoo Labs. Contact: hello@knowncaller.app.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if anything material changes. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
